Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios needed a central marketing resource. For years, franchisees were left to choose their own marketing programs which led to brand inconsistency, and made it difficult for corporate to gauge the level of success. After evaluating several online marketing companies, corporate chose to work with Yodle. Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios (FADS) needed a partner to focus on brand consistency, drive calls and emails to each franchisee, and allow corporate to measure results.


Yodle built FADS' corporate office an online marketing solution designed to drive new customers to each franchisee through a variety of features, including:

  • A FADS branded site designed to convert online visitors into prospective interviews
  • Paid search campaigns targeted to the studio's offerings and special promotions
  • Business listings claiming on the maps section of Google and Bing.
  • An online reporting dashboard so they can track their return anytime
  • Access to a team of dedicated marketing consultants


Fifteen studios currently work with Yodle and the results have exceeded expectations. Yodle has generated over 975 phone calls and emails since October 2011, driving a price per lead of $23 per franchisee.

Yodle has also achieved brand consistency. “The thing that stands out to me are Yodle's AdverSites,” says FADS' Social Media Strategist, Vincent Bator, “each location gets a similar template that can be customized.”

Area Developer Kim Haidinger loves how easy it is to track performance. “I can log in anytime to review calls with my staff, which saves thousands of dollars in training,” she says.

According to Kim, “There are plenty of competing SEO and PPC management companies, but they don't have the range or full service that Yodle has. That's what I like about them.”
