Laura - My name's Laura Carpenter. I've been practicing law in the state of Texas since 1996. The majority of that time I've been a solo practitioner, that's what I'm doing right now. I had a brief period of time about three years that I worked for an in house counsel, but I enjoy being my own boss and running my own business.

Alex - Our biggest marketing challenge is we realized that we had plenty of outbound, but we didn't have enough inbound. We had the billboards, we had the television, we had the radio advertisements, but whenever people would search for us we didn't have the inbounds that they'd find us first. Yodle puts us at the top of the search listing.

Laura - I've been on the internet since 2005 with the website, but since I've joined Yodle I have had a large increase. Probably double of the number of contacts, and people we have calling out of the area that need local attorneys.

Alex - I decided to go with Yodle because they don't do the twelve month contract thing. Yodle goes month to month, and I always believe that if you have to do a twelve month, or twenty-four month, or thirty-six month contract you don't believe in the results of your product. People now are calling and giving me the same price range that we're having with Yodle. They're promising me twenty calls a month. Yodle's given us four hundred calls a month. Other companies just can't compete with what Yodle is giving us right now.

Laura - I had a really good experience from Yodle recently, that had nothing to do with their marketing. I was moving offices about three weeks ago, and the phone company decided to shut off my phones at the old office three days before they set them up at the new office. We were completely shut down as a business, but with Yodle they send you an email every time you miss a phone call. I was able to take those numbers, call back clients and potential clients on my cell phone. So, we weren't completely shut down from new business for those four or five days.

Alex - One of my favorite things about Yodle is that any other company whenever they're doing an ad words campaign for you, they limit the number of search options that you're going to have. They want six, they want five, they want ten, these are the things that you're going to search for. Yodle is limitless, they put in what works, they take out what doesn't. You rate the ones that are getting you the actual business. They just have an algorithm that works better than everybody else. I've noticed a lot of small businesses are really hesitant about advertising and marketing, and they feel like their product is what's going to bring them business. It doesn't really work that way. If they can't find it, it doesn't exist. Yodle is going to make people find you so you can worry about your business rather than the marketing.
