Challenge

Doctors Express needed a central marketing resource. The corporate office wanted franchisees to choose their marketing freely, but working with so many vendors made it difficult to gauge performance. After a recommendation from sister franchise Senior Helpers, Doctors Express chose to work with Yodle. They needed an online marketing solution that would meet the unique marketing needs of each franchisee and allow corporate to measure results.

Solution

Yodle built Doctors Express an online marketing solution designed to drive new customers to each franchisee through a mix of features they could choose from, including:

  • A high-quality website designed to convert online visitors into prospective customers
  • Business listings claiming on the maps section of Google and Bing.
  • Business listings claiming on sites like Google Places™, Google+, Yahoo!® Local, and MSN

Yodle also set Doctors Express up with a new corporate site, an online reporting dashboard, and a dedicated support team so they could track performance and ensure support on the local and corporate level.

Results

According to Franchise Business Consultant Andrea Countryman, Yodle provides everything Doctors Express needs in their marketing, “I think it's a good platform where franchisees can elevate their business in a way they wouldn't have been able to before.”

Franchisees agree. “Internet marketing is currently our number one source of patient flow,” says franchise owner Steven Nitchen, “and Yodle plays the biggest role in this statistic.” According to franchise owner Joe Castelano, “When we first began with them in January 2010, Yodle was responsible for 20% of new patients. In November 2011, that percentage increased to 40%.”
