Getting his Name Out There

Tim Ellison, owner and operator of Mr. Godwrench Auto Service, was the new kid on the block and needed help getting new customers.

Tim received a call from Yodle and was intrigued by the all-in-one marketing solution. He was a bit hesitant about spending the money at first but felt good about what Yodle could do for his business and decided to move forward.

Tim was very happy with his decision. During just his first week onboard, Tim secured a job that almost paid for his entire first 90 days with Yodle. Since signing on with Yodle, he has received at least a couple of good quality calls a week.

Working the Program

To make the very most of what he has with Yodle, Tim has become increasingly engaged with a number of different Marketing Essentials features. Tim shared: “The photo upload feature is user friendly and it doesn't take a long time to do. Customers love seeing photos of completed jobs.”

However, Tim's favorite thing about Yodle and the feature that most impresses him is review management. Before Yodle, Tim would ask customers to write a review about their experience but they were discouraged by the number of steps that had to take once they actually left the shop. Tim said: “With Yodle it's easy. The customer simply types it in and clicks send and it goes everywhere.”

Enjoying Success

With 20 photos and nine reviews uploaded to his adversite and Facebook page in just a few months, Tim is a big advocate of getting the most out of his Yodle marketing campaign. Tim sees that his reviews and photos are being shared and “liked” on Facebook and he is enjoying the additional exposure his shop has been receiving as a result. Tim said: “I log into the dashboard about three times a day and check up on the calls. I also encourage the reviews because it's the best asset I have; it's the best thing any business can do.”

Tim sees Yodle as his partner and advises other small businesses to sign up and get involved: “People want to see a personal touch and feel comfortable. They view the pictures and reviews and it makes them want to work with you.“
