Yodle Hires Paul Bascobert as President of Local

Proven executive leader to oversee Yodle's sales, client services and marketing departments.

New York, NY - - Yodle, a leader in local online marketing, has announced that Paul Bascobert has joined the company as President of Local and will also be part of its executive management team. Mr. Bascobert will lead Yodle's team of sales, client services and marketing professionals. He is responsible for further enhancing Yodle's go-to-market strategy and client-facing operations for local businesses. Mr. Bascobert brings 20 years of experience in the media, technology and marketing services spaces.

Mr. Bascobert has spent the last four years at Bloomberg LP as the President of Bloomberg Businessweek and then also as Chief Operating Officer of Bloomberg Media. He re-launched Bloomberg Businessweek to critical acclaim resulting in an increase in market share for the publication. Mr. Bascobert also transformed Bloomberg's media assets into a thriving business enterprise.

Prior to that, Mr. Bascobert spent four years at Dow Jones & Co., first as Senior Vice President of Operations and then as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Bascobert streamlined business operations across the billion dollar media group while introducing new revenue generating innovations. He also revitalized P&L growth of all non-advertising based print, digital and mobile revenue. Previously, Mr. Bascobert was Executive Vice President of Braun Consulting leading its Media and Telecom practice, which he joined following a merger with Vertex Partners, a marketing and technology services company that he co-founded four years earlier.
