Yodle is hiring a creative individual with experience in performance based online advertising and search engine marketing. This individual should have experience in successfully implementing numerous SEO & SEM initiatives, forming business development deals and partnerships, tracking success with web analytics and establishing complementary online alliances for link-building purposes.
Responsibilities
- Source traffic through SEO, banner, partnerships and other syndication initiatives to:
- Yodle’s merchant websites (adverSite™)
- Yodle’s adverPage Merchant Directory
- Identify, contact and partner with relevant sites for linking and traffic buying
- Setup and monitor all data feeds to traffic partners such as Google Base, Directory Sites, Internet Yellow Pages, Vertical Search engines and directories and large portal sites such as Yahoo, MSN and Google.
- Test and improve site navigation and call-to-actions to improve consumer response rates.
- Analyze performance data using web analytics to enhance SEO and traffic sourcing programs.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of online marketing, lead generation, and SEO research
- Strong sense for direct marketing, metrics and lead generation
- Background in Finance or Economics is a plus
- Understanding of Customer Life Time Value, Cost Per acquisition and other KPIs
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
- Strong communication skills, ability to form mutually beneficial partnerships
- Can-do attitude and ability to overcome obstacles
- Willing to take calculated risks, measure results and tweak approach as needed
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-environment
- Ability to “think outside the box” with unique/specialized projects
- Bachelors degree required (Marketing or Business Degree Preferred)
